Prof Datin Wira Dr Janet Lo is a biotechnologist by profession and an award-winning leader with over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology, medical, aesthetic, and pharmaceutical industries. As the Founder and Managing Director of Equiptox Sdn Bhd, Livingsciences Sdn Bhd, Ataraxia Wellness Sdn Bhd, Group CEO of Metaventure Holdings Sdn Bhd, and director of other subsidiaries under the group, she has been instrumental in driving advancements in healthcare and medical technology.
Her career began in research, with hands-on experience at laboratories such as Palm Biotechnology under IOI Group and Cryocord before expanding into clinical and business leadership roles at global companies like Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, and Cook Medical. She later served as the Strategy Planning Manager for APAC, EMEA, and LAM at Cook Medical before transitioning into entrepreneurship, where she combines scientific expertise with business acumen to develop innovative healthcare solutions
